Amazing! Sophie was fantastic and so great online for our digital events. High energy and great with children of diverse ages.

Speakers Ink were helpful, prompt with any responses to questions and provided all the information necessary for the author visits.

Alison was amazing with the younger students. Her sessions were age appropriate, fun and interactive. She had the students up singing and dancing which they all enjoyed and provided fantastic props including dressing up herself. I would definitely recommend a visit from Alison!

Andrew is so passionate, enthusiastic and dynamic and his presentations are very engaging, inspiring and educational. He maintained interest for a full hour with our young children 3-5 years brilliantly. The children love his books and respond to his enthusiasm. There is so much to learn, explore and discover in them.

Lian was very engaging and had a variety of different aspects in her presentation. The students learnt a lot about the process of writing a picture book and particularly enjoyed building a story together.

Thanks for organizing the author talk yesterday. Our girls had a lovely time and left feeling quite inspired about writing. I really appreciated the opportunity to attend.

The Narrative Workshops in Year 3/4 conducted by Chrissy Byers were extremely rewarding for students. They were well run and made efficient use of time. The visual prompts used were engaging and made it possible for the students to clearly structure a narrative into beginning, middle and end. Nikki Rogers captivated our students during Library Day! They responded enthusiastically to her engaging presentation and thoroughly enjoyed exploring her books. She provided wonderful insights into her writing and illustration techniques, inspiring creativity at every turn. Vacen presented a series of engaging workshops for our students in years 4, 5 and 6 at our 2020 School Book Week. It was wonderful how she catered her program around “writing focus” requests from teachers. The children thoroughly enjoyed not only the writing activity but also the chance to learn about “World Building” in Fantasy writing and character development. Vacen was prepared, professional and it was a pleasure hosting her here at Our Lady of Mt Carmel.
