Vikki’s multi-award-winning books whisk young readers away to other worlds through curiosity, playfulness and wonder.
She won the 2023 CBCA Book of the Year for Where The Lyrebird Lives. Her titles, Amira’s Suitcase and Little Puggle’s Song have also earned Honour and Notable awards. On The Way To School was shortlisted for the 2023 Speech Pathology Australia Book of the Year.
Vikki’s stories gently touch on big themes like resilience, habitat, mindfulness and refugees. Weaving in her adventures as a journalist and photographer in Africa, Asia and Australia, Vikki’s sessions are immersive, exciting and inspiring.

Interactive Story Time, Puppets and Story-Art

Featuring 1-2 of Vikki’s books, story time is combined with actions, body percussion and sounds where students make puppets and help tell the story. Add song, movement and a fun quiz to learn about habitat, other worlds and Australian animals.
