Shelley Davidow
Shelley Davidow is the award-winning author of 45 books. Writing across genres, recent titles include Shadow Sisters (University of Queensland Press, 2018), Whisperings in the Blood (University of Queensland Press, 2016), Playing with Words (co-authored with Paul Williams; Palgrave Macmillan, UK, 2016), Fail Brilliantly (Familius, USA, 2017), Raising Stressproof Kids (Familius, USA, 2015) as well as early readers, and numerous books for children and teens. These include the YA speculative fiction novel Lights over Emerald Creek (Hague Publishing, 2014) and Spirit of the Mountain (Steinerbooks, USA, 2010). She is a full-time academic in the School of Education at the University of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, and co-hosts the segment ‘Creativity and Education’ on ABC 90.3 FM with Sheridan Stewart. Shelley is a presenter and workshop facilitator both nationally and internationally on everything creative writing-related. She also runs sessions on mitigating the effects of stress on children.
