Catherine Bateson
Catherine Bateson has been both winner and shortlisted for the CBCA Book of the Year Awards many times. She is also one of the early exponents of the verse novel with her highly acclaimed YA title A Dangerous Girl in 2000 followed by its sequel The Year it all Happened in 2001.
Catherine conducts illuminating author talks as well as practical and informative workshops on all forms of creative writing. Her most recent recognition is for The Wish Pony shortlisted by the CBCA in 2009.
